I went to Portland again for a wedding, staying at Mount Hood an hour away. Great food there, and a Goodwill Boutique (which sells high end clothing, not the usual thrift store fare). I went to my usual haunts in the Hawthorne District in SE Portland. Of course, I hit the Buffalo Exchange, ate at Pine State Biscuits, and went to Powells, where I found the title of a book I’d misplaced and never finished – The Regulators (Stephen King). I didn’t get a chance to do as much coffee crawling or indie film as I’d like, but I did eat very well, come home with a nice assortment of professional attire, and sample some mead.
