THE POOR

  • Demonstrate for us the basic dignity of human survival.
  • Enrich us with opportunities for compassion.
  • Teach us to be responsible for one another.

The poor are the orphan, the widow, the neglected, the enslaved, the kidnapped, the tortured, the trafficked, the impoverished, the abandoned and alone, the sick, the imprisoned, the immigrant (the stranger), and all who anywhere suffer or are in need.

The poor give us the opportunity to rise by giving. They save us. They make us whole. Let us do the same. Let's return something to them and love the poor together.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING LATELY?

The most common question people ask, if they don't already know: What are you doing these days? The answer is always a lot, but this page was developed to answer that question in brief.

PERSONAL EVENTS

  • Switched to memory foam and a platform bed.
  • Switched to a reel mower. But also got a lawnboy for when it gets too tall.
  • Traded in the demolished Altima and the 4Runner (which was costing more than a house payment to repair each month), and bought a Durango. Learned to hate SUVs and long for a truck again.
  • Dived into my two businesses with a vengeance. They're going well.
